The Passion of the Christ 2025
The concert – combined with a film screening – will present an oratorio inspired by the soundtrack composed by John Debney for the iconic film directed by Mel Gibson. The music from The Passion of the Christ is considered one of the most moving works of contemporary film music. The oratorio, which premiered at the Vatican, also includes pieces that were ultimately not used in the film but were incorporated by the composer into an independent concert form.
The pieces will be performed by the Polish Film Music Orchestra under the direction of Maestro Przemysław Piotr. The concert, featuring a choir, soloists, and ethnic instruments, will enhance the spectacle with exceptional emotional and spiritual depth.
